Doing your medals is the fastest and easiest way to gain the confidence you need to "get up" and "get going" at any social event. Medalists get taught the finer points about Ballroom Dancing that you would not get taught in a General Social Class.

Medals are the ultimate way to gage your accomplishments as you travel through your dancing journey. A real stepping stone to show all that, you have done it!!




They can be challenging, they can be fun but above all they will give you a true representation of your dancing level as you do more and more of them. You don't have to be the best or match anyone else’s expectations; it is all about what you do......


Medals are offered in all Three Styles, Modern Ballroom, Latin American, and New Vogue. We hold group classes for Medalists doing their Bronze and Silver levels and encourage Gold Medalists and above to do their medals by Private Tuition.






Dancewell Studios is registered with the NZFATD (New Zealand Federal Association of Teachers of Dancing) who do our Examinations throughout the year.

We have Medal Enrolments throughout the year and this is done usually during our Social Classes or at our Medal Social Nights. Please feel free to come and discuss your desire to do a medal and we will get you up and going.
